Chicago Society Brother Joins Elite Order of the Golden Heart

At the 59th Grand Chapter Conclave, Sigma Phi Epsilon's most prestigious recognition, the Order of the Golden Heart, was presented to Brother Steve Young (Kansas Gamma '80), a proud member of the SigEp Chicago Society. This rare and revered award is reserved for alumni who have committed their lives to advancing SigEp's mission with extraordinary service, sacrifice, and leadership.

Out of more than 360,000 lifetime brothers since 1901, fewer than 200 have received the Order of the Golden Heart, making Steve's induction a distinction of historic significance. Steve's service to SigEp spans over 30 years at every level of the organization: chapter counselor, mentor, housing leader, district governor, and national faculty member. He currently serves on both the Corporate Compliance Committee and the SENH Property Management Committee, where his quiet mastery of policy, mentorship, and governance has been transformative.
